What to expect
Near the Moulin Blanc harbour, in the heart of downtown Brest, Oceanopolis Brest welcomes you for a day of discovery and wonder. The leading tourist centre in Brittany, Oceanopolis is a centre of scientific culture dedicated to the oceans, highlighting both polar, tropical and temperate environments.
During your visit, through the three thematic pavilions, you will discover the wonders of the world's ocean fauna and flora. Have you always dreamed of contemplating the riches of coral reefs? To discover the exceptional ice territories of the Arctic and Antarctic? To contemplate the biodiversity of the Brittany coastline?
Thanks to Océanopolis Brest, nothing prevents you from it any more! In all, more than 1000 species will be presented, from impressive sharks to serenissima turtles, without forgetting penguins, morays and clown fish!

Oceanopolis in a few words

Visiting tips
- Dogs are not allowed at the Oceanopolis.
- During the high season (mid-July to the 3rd week of August), it is advisable to visit the park early in the morning, when the weather is fine and at weekends. Saturdays, except holidays and holidays, are usually the least busy days of the week.
Coming to Oceanopolis Brest
By car (GPS: Rue du Moulin Blanc / 48°23'21 North - 4°26'03 West) :
- Coming from Rennes-Morlaix, take the "Brest-Ports" exit.
- Coming from Nantes-Quimper, follow "Brest-Océanopolis.
- From the Place de la Liberté (Town Hall), take the direction of the station, then the commercial port and follow Océanopolis
- The car park is free
By train:
Brest station 3 km away, then bus line n° 3 Océanopolis via Palaren
