What to expect

It is in the Jardin des Plantes, in the fifth arrondissement of Paris, that you can visit the Grande Galerie de l'Évolution. This vast exhibition space is entirely dedicated to the presentation of the living world, in all its diversity. The Gallery is thus organized on three levels, presenting terrestrial and marine animals, the effects of man on his environment as well as the complexity of life on earth. Thanks to its dramatic scenography and lighting, the endangered species room is certainly one of the most spectacular. It is also for its sublime metallic architecture, designed by the engineer Gustave Eiffel in 1889, that one comes to visit this unique place, able to seduce young and old. To avoid waiting at the entrance, remember to book your ticket in advance on ticketeaser.com.
