Meteorites Exhibition
Great Gallery of Evolution from October 18, 2017 to January 6, 2019
What to expect
Where do these fiery stones that traverse our sky come from? Studied closely by science today and the subject of many myths, meteorites intrigue and captivate us. "Meteorites - Between Sky and Earth" offers a journey between science and legends, where artworks intertwine with one of the richest collections of meteorites in the world. In the majestic setting of the Great Gallery of Evolution at the Jardin des Plantes in Paris, you will be immersed in a playful, poetic, and interactive universe, where projections and explanations will unveil part of the mystery surrounding these stones fallen from the sky, as well as the more dizzying mystery of our origins. Presented in three parts, "The Fall," "Extraterrestrial Stones," and "Archives of the Past," this exhibition will delight both young and old. Due to its success, it has been extended until January 6, 2019. Not to be missed under any circumstances.Opening Hours of the Great Gallery of Evolution
