What to expect
For the opening of the Workshop of Lights in Paris, the exhibition devoted to Gustav Klimt immediately sets the tone for the venue's purpose. An avant-garde space for an avant-garde figure. For the first time in the capital, the opportunity to explore an oeuvre in an immersive journey had to highlight modernity. With this leading figure of the Viennese Secession, the Atelier des Lumières selects an exceptional painter. Through a scenography projected onto the walls and floor, the exhibition aims to be inaugural. The Kiss, The Three Ages of Woman, or Judith, all paintings that allow for a novel exploration of the Viennese painter. Sophisticated figures, adorned with gold and decorative motifs, invite visitors to immerse themselves in the painter's work, larger than life, projected by a hundred laser projectors and animated by fifty speakers.
